Our Story

The beginning

Bampton House was created from a need and passion: like all good ideas. A need for natural products to use within the salon and at home and a passion for healthy skin care. Having worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years I became frustrated with the lack of choice to use on clients within the salon environment and personally at home. More natural alternatives weren’t as accessible for business use or simply impractical. Everything at my finger tips quite literally was filled with Parabens, Silicones and Sulphates and over the years I suffered with Eczema. I have also seen colleagues suffer with Psoriasis which has been widely accepted as the norm in the hair and beauty industry.  My hands are my tools; skin a reflection of my knowledge and it seemed an unacceptable consequence for a career I loved so I started experimenting; initially with things to use for myself and then for clients: and so Bampton House was born.

Bampton House ethos

At Bampton House we believe in truly natural skincare and candles. We are surrounded by chemicals in our everyday life and we feel it’s important, where possible, to remove these; especially when we are rubbing it into our skin or burning it in the air that we breath. We do not use Parabens, Sulphates or any artificial fragrances. Essential oils are used, not only because they smell lovely, but because they serve a purpose. All of our products are Vegan and we never test on animals (I don’t think family members count haha). All of our products are carefully handcrafted from the finest ingredients from ethical sources. We are environmentally conscious and try to use previously recycled packaging or, where that isn’t possible, we ensure it has the lowest possible environmental impact and can be recycled.
